May 13, 2014, Feast of Saint Robert Bellarmine within the Octave of the Solemnity of Saint Joseph and the Ninety-seventh Anniversary of Our Lady’s First Apparition in the Cova da Iria near Fatima Portugal.
The Rubicon Was Crossed Fifty Years Ago, part four, is the conclusion of a four-part series. This one deals with a few of the influences of Protestantism’s cult of the primacy of the individual in the ethos of Giovanni Enrico Antonio Maria Montini’s Novus Ordo liturgical service. The article took some time to complete as computer problems caused me to resort to a plug-in “mouse” after the touchpad on my horrible notebook computer (don’t ever get an Acer product) stopped working.
Even though there are some interesting developments in the make-believe world of conciliarism, some which will serve as the fodder for commentary in a few days, attention will be turned to writing a commentary on the situation in The Ukraine. I realize that most in the relatively small readership of this site may not have much interest in this story. However, it is something that I believe important to view in historical context, especially in light of factors that most commentators have missed entirely. It is my hope to have that aricle posted on Thursday, May 15, 2014, the Feast of Saint John Baptist de la Salle.
Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us.
Saint Joseph, pray for us.
Saint Robert Bellarmine, pray for us.
